Add a few drops to water in your baby's diffuser or humidifier and Mister Sleepy Magic Drops will create a gentle, calming mist. We recommend letting it fill the air for a few minutes before your baby enters their nursery or sleeping area. The more regularly you use it, the quicker your baby will recognize the aroma and relax toward sleep.

When Essential Oils are referred to as ‘100% Pure’, this means the oil is sourced only from the named botanical species, from only one location or origin. There has been No tampering with the oil, No additives, fillers or dilutions, and No natural or artificial aroma components added.

Unfortunately essential oils are not regulated by the FDA or TGA, and many companies will take advantage of this to keep manufacturing costs low. They intentionally make what are called adulterations to their oils, by filling bottles with cheap synthetic fillers, extenders or artificial fragrance oils. 

We recommend reading the label closely. For example, you might find ingredients like Lavindinol listed where you should only see Lavender. 

We strongly disagree with this practice. If anyone deserves a pure and honest product, it's our babies.

Because transparency is kind of our thing.

But in all seriousness, this is a good question. Essential oils are usually stored in a dark amber glass bottle to keep sunlight from damaging the oil over time. So why haven't we done that? First off, we don't bottle your Magic Drops until you order, so the product you receive is as fresh as it gets.

And second, we're not all that worried about the shelf life.

Seriously. You're putting that baby down for a nap one to four times a day and getting them to bed every single night. We're just not worried about that one bottle lasting 10 years. Especially when you see how well it works.

(We do still recommend keeping it out of direct sunlight as all oils are best kept in a cool, dark place)

Then realized in Australia alone we throw away 1.9 million tonnes of packaging per year. So we decided to do our part, ditch the box and instead use recycled paper to pack our compostable mailers. We think reducing waste on this planet is also pretty cute.

The Magic Drops for your diffuser contain lavender, chamomile, ylang ylang, sweet orange and bergamot. Magic on the Go contains lavender, chamomile, ylang ylang and fractionated coconut oil. Pure forms of citrus oils can cause skin irritation with too much sun exposure, which is entirely possible if out and about. Bergamot and sweet orange are best left out in order to protect your baby’s sensitive skin. Fractionated coconut oil is a gentle, skin-friendly carrier oil that allows the essentials oils to be safely absorbed topically.
